Serena Williams gave an honest answer, “mine? DISASTROUS. BUT I WAS YOUNG AND LEARNED A LOT”. Celebrities have much more ‘normal’ lives than most fans imagine, and it seems like a horrible first date is a universally common ritual that everyone must go through. Even, arguably, the greatest tennis player of all time.

Her current romantic life seems much better; Serena Williams married Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit in November 2017. The couple have an adorable daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., often referred to as ‘Olympia’.

During the ‘Ask me anything’, another fan posed a question about Sharapova. Williams Vs Sharapova was the fiercest rivalry in women’s tennis at one point, although it ended up as a non-contest by the end of their careers.

Answering the question, Williams went on to describe her moment with Maria Sharapova at Met Gala 2021. The pair had an exciting meeting at the big event.

According to Serena, they talked, laughed, and chatted for a long time. They obviously also discussed their main vocation, tennis. Subsequently, Williams defined Sharapova as fun.
