Chris Evert executed an illustrious tennis career. She achieved all those records if not more, that every professional wishes to be marked under his/her name. However, the ace who had the ability to calculate and control her opponent’s move failed to excel in love life.

She tried to find her soulmate for years and met many suitors. Though in the end, some decisions she made damaged her relationships and left her alone. The one that sparks great debates is her leaving Andy Mill for Greg Norman.

Evert broke her over 18-year-long marriage with the Olympic ski racer to be with his best friend and famous Australian golfer Greg Norman. Mill’s life started moving when Debra Harvic arrived. The lingering ill feelings started to fade, however the healing really ended when Evert and Norman’s marriage ended. Mill, earlier in an interview, confessed, “Now that Greg is out of the picture, we are all fine, and I am ecstatic.”

“Debra and I are always there for the children, and Chrissy and I are friends.” Thereafter, he added, “Divorce is like a golf swing — it always makes someone happy.” The 18 times Grand Slam champion left Mill in 2007 and tied the knot with Norman in the year 2008.

In months, problems such as their kids’ disapproval started piling up, and they decided that it was best to part ways. They filed for divorce in 2009. A year after that, the golfer married Australian interior decorator Kirsten Kutner and Evert vowed to look inward and be more independent.

Chris Evert’s other relationship

The first person the seven-time French Open champion dated after becoming famous was Jimmy Connors. They were one of the most adored couples of the 70s and fans rooted for them. However, over a dispute over their pregnancy, they broke up. As per the eight-time Grand Slam champion’s claim, he wanted to have the child, but Evert felt otherwise.

After breaking ties with Connors, Evert crossed paths with the British tennis star John Lloyd. They got hitched in 1979 and over reasons such as a huge gap in their success on the tennis court; they decided to bid farewell to their almost 10-year-long partnership. Following that, Evert met Mill and welcomed her three children with him.
