Osaka is all set to return to the Qatar Open after almost a gap of 6 years. She’ll face a familiar opponent in her first-round clash at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex on Monday. France’s Caroline Garcia will take on Naomi Osaka for a second time this year. The first meeting at the AO wasn’t a pleasant experience for the Japanese star. However, she’s now quite eager to give it back to the Frenchwoman. Osaka posted a cryptic message ahead of her match in Qatar

A few weeks back the Japanese star wrote, “I’m the type of person that, even if I play the No. 1 seed, I want myself to win, and I kind of expect myself to win, which is the delusion part. But I try not to make too many excuses. I feel like in some capacity, everyone who has achieved something crazy has been called crazy along the way… I kind of like my delusions, they’re cool.”

And now, she posted a one-word message that has already started to raise concerns in the minds of her fans about the possibility of her considering retirement. She wrote, “Hmmmmm” on her X(formerly Twitter) account recently. Does it really give a hint at something?
