Venus Williams and Serena Williams’ film making a huge stride in the entertainment world

The movie ‘King Richard’ has already received huge compliments from the fans and film fraternity. An encouraging and touching story of Venus and Serena’s father has reached the masses and classes. The actors were also rewarded in many award functions before the biggest one.

Will Smith, who plays the central role in the film, has won big awards like BAFTA, SAG award, AAFCA, and AACTA. The talented 53-years old actor has never won an Oscar award before, but this could be his year with the “King Richard” movie.

The movie itself is also nominated for the “Best motion picture of the year” award, which could again be a humongous accomplishment for the Williams Sisters, being executive producers of the movie. The movie is the winner of the Black Films Critics Circle Award, Black Reel Award, and AFI Awards.     

Other than these special nominations, Serena and Venus’ film will be looking to get some recognition in technical categories like Original Screenplay, Editing, and Music. Yet another individual nomination for the film is the Best actress in supporting role.
