As much as Serena Williams gained fans by being a fierce competitor on a tennis court over the past two decades, she constantly garners attention of her admirers through her social media posts alongside daughter, Olympia.

The mother-daughter duo have already become the internet sensation as their post attracts parents and fans alike. Recently, the American star recorded a dance video with Olympia. The little girl was excitedly doing the dance moves as Serena was looking in awe of her daughter by standing in the back.

My Morning”, Serena wrote in the caption.

In the post, Serena could be seen saying, “I don’t need to be in the camera. You got too much possess here”.

After pulling out of the US Open this year due to a hamstring injury, Serena decided to sit out the rest of the season to make a comeback at the Australian Open.

But, a couple of weeks ago, the former world no.1 announced her decision to withdraw from the ‘happy slam’ as she wasn’t fully fit.

While this is never an easy decision to make, I am not where I need to be physically to compete. Melbourne is one of my favorite cities to visit and I look forward to playing at the Australian Open every year. I will miss seeing the fans, but am excited to return and compete at my highest level”.

At this year’s Australian Open, Serena reached the semi-finals after defeating the likes of Laura Siegemund, Aryna Sabalenka, and Simona Halep. In the semis, she was ousted by the eventual champion Naomi Osaka.

Also, Serena’ French Open campaign ended in the pre-quarters stage as she was defeated by Elena Rybakina in straight sets. Earlier in the tournament, the American defeated Danielle Collins, Mihaela Buzărnescu, and Irina-Camelia Begu.

Serena Williams’ pursuit of winning the 24th Grand Slam title will continue at the 2022 French Open as it remains to be seen if she decides to play any other tournaments before Roland Garros.
