Serena Williams’ husband is truly one of the most successful businesspersons right now. Apart from his great business knowledge, he is also a sports enthusiast. Often, we see him posting about various sports such as boxing, soccer, basketball, and of course, tennis.

Recently, he posted about the NBA, particularly the all-star game. Also, he posed a valid question about its insane popularity.

Alexis Ohanian talked about the popularity of the NBA all-star weekend

Earlier, the Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, took to Twitter and asked, Hey Twitter – what is it about the programming for @NBA all-star weekend that makes it such a fun spectacle? Like people come to town for it in a way I don’t see in other major pro sports. Is it just because it’s so tied into the culture?

In reply, he received many answers from fans, but one particular fan pointed out that the average age of NBA fans is much less than NFL, NHL, PGA, MLB, and other sports. According to the fan, that was one of the main reasons for the popularity of the NBA all-star weekend. In reply, Ohanian, Tweeted, “Haha! OK that’s a great point.”

Notably, the NBA all-star weekend garners plenty of attention as fans from around the globe come to America just to watch the players play. Moreover, we also witness other fun stuff, including the three-point shooting contest, the dunk contest, the celebrity all-star game, and the main attraction, the all-star game.

Meanwhile, Ohanian recently went on a vacation to Greece with his family, including his wife, Serena Williams, and daughter Olympia. During the Wimbledon Championships, the whole Williams family was in the UK spending some quality time. Before that, Serena took part in the Wimbledon Championships but suffered a loss in the very first round.

After shaking off that loss, Serena is now focusing on the next Grand Slam title, i.e. the US Open. To prepare for the US Open, the 23-time Grand Slam champion will play two back-to-back tournaments in Toronto and Cincinnati.

Serena, 40, is currently at the end of her career. In the past, she has had plenty of chances before to win the 24th Grand Slam title and match Margaret Court’s record, but failed on every occasion. Earlier, in an interview, she talked about not giving up on that dream, as she is still fit enough to compete for the biggest honors in the sport.
