Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard is among the most followed tennis players on social media, and for good reason. The Canadian rose to fame after her impressive performances in the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. Since then, her fanbase has constantly increased, partly due to her uber-active social media presence. Currently, the Canadian is making slow strides to regain her momentum. While there’s no major tennis tournament lined up for her now, the 28-year-old took out some time to enjoy a vacation.

Bouchard had a good start to her career, becoming the first Canadian WTA player to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament in 2014. However, constant injuries have seen her ranking plummet in recent years. The 28-year-old was out of action for over two years after suffering a shoulder injury.
Eugenie Bouchard shares pictures from her vacation
Bouchard is currently spending some quality time at the Parrot Cay islands. The 28-year-old shared her stunning bikini photo from the islands. In the pictures, we can see Bouchard posing by the beachside, standing next to a coconut tree. She dons a maroon bikini with an infectious smile.

As the Canadian star is renowned for engaging candidly with her fans, the tennis star dropped a strict warning in the post. “On vacay, don’t text,” she wrote in the caption. The post already has over 100K likes and over a thousand comments.
Bouchard has been recovering from her injury and recently made a comeback to the Tour. She played in the qualifiers of the US Open and was knocked out in the second round. Further, the Canadian participated in the WTA 250 Chennai Open and made it to the quarterfinals.

Bouchard’s honest admission about her childhood
Over the years, Eugenie Bouchard has amazed fans with both her looks and tennis skills. In her breakthrough season in 2014, the Canadian impressed everyone with her style of play. She also became the first Canadian player to break into the top five of the WTA rankings.

While one may say that she is a happy and vibrant person, not all have been great about her childhood. The 28-year-old opened up about her childhood in a recent podcast. The Canadian admitted she had an abnormal childhood. She said that she used to cry in front of her parents. She further revealed how her abnormal behavior led to her getting into private tennis lessons.
