Not long ago, the movie King Richard was released based on the lives of the Williams family. The movie was acknowledged widely by the audiences and won quite a few awards.

Serena Williams and sister Venus were humbled by the movie stars 

Recently, Venus and Serena were at Critics Choice Awards. They were left amazed by the actors in the movie, especially Will Smith, and praised the other actors as well. They were happy with the way they learned tennis and displayed the chemistry amongst the sisters.

While speaking on this topic, Venus and Serena stated, “These two girls, they learned to play tennis, which is not easy. Sometimes, I don’t know how to play tennis. You two nailed the young us and the chemistry they had between us as sisters, it was amazing. And what can we say about Will Smith? I don’t think there could have been a better tribute to our father than the performance that you delivered, Will. Thank you.”

Coming to tennis, both Serena and Venus have not been seen on the tour for a while. They have missed the Australian Open this season. Prior to that, they even missed the US Open last season.

They were last seen at the Wimbledon Championships last year. Sadly, they were unable to go deep into the tournament. On the contrary, Serena had to withdraw herself from the opening round match as she sprained her ankle early on.
