Every time Coco played, the American crowd was heavily in her corner.” Not only that, she also highlighted how the third-seeded tennis player showed that it was just a matter of an attitude change that made her a champion.
Subsequently, she stated how it was the very moment that the US Open journey changed people’s perspective. She said, “Coco’s semifinal was delayed when a protestor glued his feet to the ground. And then, in the finals, Coco lost the first set against a red-hot Aryna Sabalenka. She said, “I think, you know, we all saw what Gauff was able to achieve at the US Open. But I think in terms of dominance and in terms of who’s kind of still at the top of the women’s game, you can’t go past Swiatek.” Along with that, she also highlighted how the four-time Grand Slam champion is still at the top of her game and even stands tall against her opponents while putting on great performances on the tennis court.
