The scent of familiarity when you’re away from home is quite peculiar. World’s No.4 Elena Rybakina in a recent turn of events ended up enjoying a special treat from her country Kazakhstan. Rybakina is currently in Cancun Mexico for the WTA Finals, however, it seems like she is not too far away from her own country. Even though she is out of the Finals, she doesn’t look too gloomy.
Despite all the glory that athletes receive, it is still a dreaded task when the equation asks for some sacrifice. Leaving their country every week to fly away and play the matches has to be quite hectic. Elena Rybakina however seems to have found an avid solution this time.

A night at the circus lifts Elena Rybakina’s spirits
Elena Rybakina, still recovering from her early exit from the WTA Finals, found herself in an unexpected twist of fate. The disappointment of losing to top seed Aryna Sabalenka in the group stage had left her contemplative. She knew the expectations were high, and the loss had stung badly. While many athletes might choose to isolate themselves during such times, Rybakina opted for a different path.
Elena Rybakina decided to immerse herself in the vibrant culture of Mexico. She attended a spectacular show that featured none other than the famous Kazakh Cirque Du Soleil artist, Gasya. The performance was a fusion of acrobatics and artistry. It seemed to captivate Rybakina allowing her to momentarily forget the tennis court. After the show, she had the chance to meet Gasya, proudly representing her home country with the Kazakh flag.
