But, she has beautifully used this time to visit her maternal and paternal grandmothers which might not be possible during her busy AO 2024 schedule.

Despite all the doubts and rumors going on, Emma Raducanu has once again proved herself! The doubters called her a one-show star and she tweaked it into positivity: “I decided to try and spin it into a good thing and use this time for myself,” she said. The former number even visited her paternal and maternal grandmothers during the break after having the surgeries. Recalling that moment she said, “I would probably never get the chance to do that on a normal calendar.”

Raducanu gets a lucky draw in her comeback match at the Grand Slams

The 21-year-old Brit will face her American opponent, Shelby Rogers in the first round of the 2024 AO which kick-starts from January 14. Rogers is 10 years older than Raducanu. Even the American is making it after a long injury layoff. She had undergone surgery last year and was seen last in action in July 2023.
