After winning the final, Gauff pulled off Serena Williams‘ twirl and acknowledged the crowd. She impressed the crowd again with her interview, as the cheers were louder than ever. However, amidst all these, a particular gesture from Gauff went under the radar.

Coco Gauff shares a heartwarming moment with her mother

Well, the moment may have gone under the radar, but the WTA official account was quick enough to capture it. After Gauff’s victory, they posted a series of pictures of the 19-year-old. The first few captures undoubtedly saw her holding the trophy, with celebratory ribbons falling over her. However, the fourth frame was the one that meant the world to Gauff. It was a picture of Gauff’s mother hugging her daughter right after her triumph.

Gauff took to her own Instagram to shower more love over her mother. She reposted the same picture on her story and added ‘mom ❤️‘ as the caption. Her love for her family knows no bounds. It was not the first instance of the Gauff mother-daughter bonding.

Gauff took her mother on a brunch date

Eventful would be an understatement to describe Gauff’s week at Washington. Her press conferences revolved around the major changes she made to her team. On the court, she was taking on some of the top players for the title. However, in the middle of the hectic schedule, Gauff managed to spare enough time to take her mother out on a brunch date. They went to a cafe named ‘Busboys and Poets’ in Washington.
