In 2022, IRL was another company that was struggling with the impact of Covid-19. Even though the company underwent a mass layoff, the founder and CEO, Abraham Shafi, said that the platform was thriving. As per him, there were 20 million active monthly users who were talking to each other and planning their daily life. Additionally, the platform was able to raise $200 million in funding.

However, after an investigation by the members of the board, the CEO found himself with a suspension. A spokesperson recently said that 95% of the users were automated and did not exist in real life. As a result of the probe, the company shut down. Further, the capital was returned to stakeholders.

Noticing the downfall of a promising platform, the Reddit co-founder, dropped a gold nugget when he heard the news. He shared the news on his Twitter page with a simple piece of advice for the up-and-coming CEOs. He said, “Wow. CEOs: don’t do this.

 The Queen of the Court’s spouse recently shared his experience in the form of wisdom for amateur businessmen. In a recent Twitter thread, he drew a comparison from school to the real world. His main focus was on the feedback. In school, any mistake provokes feedback and can be fixed. But in the field of business, feedback is unclear, and one has to keep testing various ways to figure out which works best for them.
