The Canadian tennis star has a twin sister, Beatrice Bouchard. Like the Williams sisters, they share a strong bond and, over the years, fans have seen them enjoying their time together on various occasions. However, this time the focus is on their younger sister, Charlotte Bouchard.

While the elder twin sisters focus on their careers, Charlotte Bouchard is gearing up to start a new yet very important phase of her life. The younger one has gotten engaged during a private picnic.

Genie could not contain her excitement for her younger sister as she took to her Instagram story. Sharing the engagement post, she stated, “My baby sister is engaged!” 

By finding joy in little things, Bouchard has remained resilient on the court despite not having a very good season. And with that, the criticism around her comeback has continued. Although she has been heavily criticized by several fans, pundits and former stars, the Canadian was recently backed by none other than Serena Williams’ ex-coach.

The former coach of Serena Williams defends Bouchard 

Last year, before her comeback, Bouchard was focusing on her training and3+ rehabilitation. She had undergone a major shoulder surgery before that. However, putting it all aside, a critic challenged her to win a title.

At this point, the former coach of Serena Williams, Rennae Stubbs, came into the picture and bashed the critic. She questioned his knowledge of recuperation from shoulder surgery and how they could be so rude. Eventually, she even gave the critic a demo as to how to appreciate Bouchard’s efforts.

Now, as Bouchard struggles to find her form, she focuses on the little challenges one point at a time to get back on track.
