Eugenie Bouchard is a fitness freak! The Canadian tennis star never compromises on her workout sessions. Moreover, she regularly shares her workout videos with her fans on social media.

The last year has been a difficult one for the 28-year-old. She has been away from the WTA tour since March last year due to a torn subscapularis in her right shoulder. Subsequently, she underwent surgery following which she has been in the rehabilitation phase.

Her lengthy absence has significantly affected her WTA rankings. Bouchard has dropped out of the top-1000 and is currently ranked 1248 in the world.

The former Wimbledon finalist took to Twitter to praise Carrie Underwood’s quads. She said, “Ummm Carrie Underwood’s quads???”

Like Bouchard, the American singer is also a fitness freak and regularly posts her workout videos on social media. Recently, Bouchard made a return to the court by playing an exhibition set in the Madison match. Further, thrilled over her return, she said, “First exhibition set in awhile. I had the best time playing in front of a crowd. My cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time!”

Iga Swiatek rises to the top spot in women’s singles
Following her victory at the Miami Open, Polish tennis star, Iga Swiatek, attained the Number 1 ranking in women’s singles. She dethroned Ashleigh Barty, who had announced her shock retirement last month. Swiatek is in incredible form this season, as she defeated four-time Grand Slam champion, Naomi Osaka, to clinch the title in Miami.

Swiatek became only the fourth woman after Steffi Graff, Kim Clijsters, and Victoria Azarenka to win the Sunshine Double.
