Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard is regular in touch with her fan base. Though she has not played competitive Tennis since March last year, she keeps sharing updates on her social account. Undoubtedly, she is one of the most followed tennis stars on social media with over 2.1 M followers on Instagram alone.
In her very recent post, she appeared to be enjoying a cozy vacation on Miami Beach in a private Yacht. The Canadian star, who resides in Las Vegas in the US, was seen relishing a voyage and shared photos of the same.

Many fans quickly reacted to the post with thousands of likes in just a few minutes. Many of them did appreciate her fit body, while some even asked about her possible return.

The 27-year old star had a shoulder injury in March 2021 and underwent surgery in June same year. Since then she was going through a recovery process, which appears to be nearing completion. She has not yet confirmed her return date while fans are awaiting the 2014 Wimbledon Finalist to compete in WTA tours.

It’s been nearly a year that Eugenie Bouchard had played any competitive match. In Oct 2021, she updated on her recovery and said, “Everything is still on time, so I just need a few more weeks of intense PT and strengthening and then I can finally—five months later get on the court.“

Meanwhile, she joined Tennis Channel over the summer as a Live host and even commentated in the Indiana Wells tournament. Earlier also, she was with the commentary team for California and Toronto events.
On the commercial end, off-court, Bouchard didn’t have to wait long, as she signed up for the LaceClips team – an app tracking performance day to day and helping to improve fitness over time.

The 13-year pro player had a marginally successful career on the court. 2014 was her best year when she reached Semis of Australian Open and French Open. Also, she had the closest shot at her first major in 2014 Wimbledon, only to lose it against Petra Kvitova in straight sets in just 55 mins game time.

But she has been a very successful Canadian, who managed to break into the top 5 ranking in 2014. With injuries and a slight dip in form in later years of her career, she now ranks 333 in WTA rankings.
