Eugenie Bouchard had her breakout in the realm of tennis when she reached the finals of Wimbledon in 2014. Although her career has plateaued since that achievement, the Canadian star has been active on tour. Recently, the player shared some Instagram stories of her hitting the gym and doing training to sharpen her fitness.

Being from a non-tennis playing country, Bouchard became a tennis role model for the players in her country. However, last year, she had to undergo a serious shoulder surgery which took more than a year for her to recover. The player is back on the court, however, is struggling to find her rhythm back.

Bouchard has not had a great performance on the court since her comeback. The Canadian player is focusing on getting her game back after her serious shoulder injury last year. The player shared a few Instagram stories where she was seen sweating it out on the gym floor.

In the gym, she did diligent reps of various strengths and core exercises. Bouchard had earlier planned to make a comeback at Wimbledon, but due to lack of ranking points, she decided to skip the event. Subsequently, she made her comeback at a WTA event in Vancouver.
