The Canadian tennis professional, Eugenie Bouchard, has had a rough year. She made a comeback this season after recovering from a gruesome shoulder injury. However, her game had already taken a hit, and it clearly showed in her runs. She suffered multiple initial round exits.

Though she maintained her calm and didn’t let those defeats affect her mental well-being. She is as active as earlier on social media and recently, keeping true to her nature, updated her fans about her time off the court.
Eugenie Bouchard feels guilty
The 2014 Wimbledon runner-up took to Instagram and shared her concern regarding her diet. “Kinda feel bad by eating this much turkey rn.” Bouchard captioned the image of the giant turkey burger she had.

Following that, she gave a visit to home depot dressed in a comfortable track suit, and ended the day with a nice movie. Bouchard walked out of the circuit last year around March and made a return during the American swing. She enrolled for the US Open and incurred heartbreaking qualifiers defeat.

Post that, she made a run till the quarterfinals of the WTA 250 event in India. Though in the next event based on the hard courts of Korea, she came back to square one. The 35-year-old German tennis professional, Tatjana Maria, uprooted her from the tournament in the first match.
Has Bouchard lost her focus
The 28-year-old has received severe denouncing for her fallen form and standing in the WTA. She once posed as one of the most prominent professionals and now is struggling to survive her initial round opponents. Although many believe that it’s the pestering injury that ruined her game, others argue that newfound fame blinded her and diverted her focus.

Bouchard has over two million followers on Instagram and Twitter. She is quite active on these social media platforms and has done some successful modeling projects as well. She could have mentioned the balance between her profession and hobby, like Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka, if she were to perform well on-court as well. But she filed to do so. Thus providing fodder to her haters.
