Romanian tennis star Simona Halep is one of the best tennis players on the WTA Tour. The 30 years old has won two Grand Slam in her career. The former world number one made a comeback after a serious injury that could have potentially ended her career. It was Patrick Mouratoglou, the former coach of Serena Williams, who came to her aid. Halep has credited the Frenchman frequently for inspiring her to make a comeback.

Notably, Patrick Mouratoglou is a renowned tennis coach. Also, he runs an academy by the name of Mouratoglou tennis academy, which prepares budding tennis players for the future. Recently, Halep paid a visit to the academy to meet the graduates of the 2022 batch. The former world number 1 also shared some valuable advice with the students.
Halep’s advice to students
While sharing a picture of her visit to the academy, the Romanian gave some important advice to the graduating students of the 2022 batch. She wrote,
“What an honor it was to celebrate the 2022 graduates of @mouratoglou_tennis_academy
I wish each and every one of you the best of luck in your next chapter in life. Always remember to give it your all, trust yourself, and dream big even if it seems scary!”

Notably, the 31-year-old has struggled after her return from the injury. Although she reached the semifinals of Indian Wells, where she suffered a leg injury. Subsequently missing the start of the clay-court season. However, she made a strong comeback, reaching the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open, where she lost to the eventual champion, Ons Jabeur.
But the Romanian hasn’t impressed lately as she crashed out of the Italian Open in the second round. Also, she recently faced a second-round exit in the French Open 2022 and is currently preparing herself for the upcoming Wimbledon Championship.

The former world number 1 has started her preparation for the upcoming grass-court Grand Slam. Recently, her coach Patrick Mouratoglou posted a video of a practice session on Instagram, where he is teaching slice serve to the 31 years old.
