Serena Williams is a proud mother and has often spoken about how much motherhood has changed her life for the better. She has shared that being a mom is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling things she has ever done. However, there is one thing that Serena does not particularly enjoy about being a mother. After her retirement last year, she has had plenty of time to explore different ventures, from all of which she emerged victorious. Yet, there is something that Serena lacks in her life, and that is time for herself.

However, in a recent interview that highlights this partnership, Serena confesses to an interest that she has almost given up due to the lack of time for it in her life.

Serena Williams hasn’t read a single book since…

Apart from her partnership with Michelob ULTRA, Serena has also been involved in various other ventures, including her own fashion line, her health and wellness platform, and her role as an activist for women’s and girls’ rights. She has shown that she is a multi-talented individual who is not only a successful athlete but also a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and advocate for social causes.

However, she has missed out on one of her favorite pastimes- reading. As she confesses to Essence, in an exclusive interview, “I love reading, but ever since I had Olympia, I just don’t even think I’ve read a book. But I do love reading.”

Also, going to the movies is one of her favorite activities. She says, “I absolutely love going to the movies, it’s my favorite thing, it shuts my brain off.”

Serena has a different priority right now

Books and movies sure are great constructive habits that allow you to relax and unwind. Especially if you are someone like Serena, who has such a busy day. However, she still loves the idea of reading and plans to get back to it in the future. For now, motherhood seems to top her list of favorite things, as she keeps spending more and more time with her daughter.
