Throughout her career and after that, Martina Navratilova has been one of the most outspoken sporting personalities out there, never shying away from expressing her views on controversial matters. She has often expressed her political views on sensitive matters like politics and race, to the wage gap and gender inequality.
Recently, she took a dig at the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. In a recent speech, Trump criticized the current President Joe Biden regarding the rise in gas prices, which irked Navratilova as she mocked him on social media.

In his recent speech, Trump called out President Joe Biden for keeping the gas prices low. He felt the gas prices were really low during his reign as United States President, which allowed Biden the luxury to do the same to benefit for the election.

Notably, Navratilova never misses a chance to criticize Trump and his supporters. Previously, she took a dig at Trump regarding his FBI case as he was struggling to get lawyers. Other than that, she celebrated Joe Biden’s victory over Trump last year in January.
Navratilova sends a beautiful message to Roger Federer after his retirement announcement
Alongside sharing her political views, Navratilova recently wrote a heartfelt message for Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer, who announced his retirement from professional tennis a few days ago.
She tweeted, “Full of love, life, hope, passion and gratitude. Which is exactly how Roger played the game we love so much. Thank you thank you thank you, for all the magic!!!”

It is worth noting that Navratilova once predicted Federer’s downfall back in 2011, as she felt the Swiss player won’t reach no.1 in the rankings in the future. However, Federer proved everybody wrong, including Navratilova, as he continued to dominate the game. Later, Navratilova hailed Federer for his achievements despite the age factor.

Meanwhile, Navratilova also sent a tricky farewell message to another legendary tennis star, i.e. Serena Williams. In the recently concluded US Open, Serena played her final match after losing in the third round. Although Navratilova sent her a farewell message, she refused to believe Serena’s retirement news. She is hoping to see Serena making a comeback.
