The Met Gala 2021 has finally come to an end and fans witnessed quite a many tennis stars at the event in New York. While Emma Raducanu and Mara Sharapova turned in gorgeous looks, one can’t get away his or her eyes from the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, and former World No.1 Venus Williams.

On her recent Instagram story, Venus thanked Serena on her recent post. On the third post, when Venus mentioned that after attending Met Gala 2021, she is back to training, Serena seemed surprised and exclaimed that how come her sister has already reached home.

Venus Williams later thanked Serena on her latest Insta story as a reply to her comment. “Tks Serena Williams,” wrote Venus and then shared some laughing emojis.

Venus was clearly trying to have some fun with her sister. Even though she is back to her daily practice, she knows that her younger sister is yet to return to the court after the hamstring injury.

Both Venus and Serena Williams honored to meet Evan Mock at Met Gala 2021

Interestingly, both the Williams’ sisters got the opportunity of meeting with renowned American sitcom- Gossip Girl’s star actor, Evan Mock. Dressed in white and black with a bow and shorts, he even posted a picture of himself with Serena on his Instagram.

“Evan Mock, fan girl moment meeting him. Hmm, how did Serena Williams get a pic?” wrote Venus while re-posting the story of Mock on her Instagram handle.

Venus highlighted that meeting Mock is like a fangirl moment for her. However, she got a little upset as her sister got a picture with him while she was not so lucky.

Venus Williams’ comeback on the court after the US Open 2021 this year is not certain as of now. But, fans hope that as she is training hard, they might see her in action soon. Will the 40-year-old be able to win a title this year?
