CFDA is Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. which is a not-for-profit trade association of America’s foremost fashion and accessory designers. It is a highly recognized organization having more than 450 members in the fashion world.

Thus, it was a massive achievement for Serena to have been named the Fashion Icon. Following this announcement, she received a special message from one of her very good friends, Caroline Wozniacki.
