He captioned that post, “Giving our court a much needed resurfacing.” After seeing this post, one of his followers asked him, “Amazing court, do you win any points off of her?” Then in reply to this question, Ohanian said, “I have never played tennis in my life. And likely never will. I’ll fetch balls for Olympia tho.”

“I hated tennis until I met my wife” – Alexis Ohanian said in a previous interview. He met Serena Williams in 2015, and later that year he was also invited to attend one of Williams’ matches at the 2015 French Open. Ohanian is someone who has always been a bit more inclined towards the NFL than any other sport. Earlier in an interview with Vanity Fair, he spoke about tennis and he revealed that he has “never watched a match on television or in real life…I had no respect for tennis.” However, his destiny perhaps had other plans. It brought him closer to the sport!

Marrying one of the best players in the sport’s history brought an astonishing change to his perspective. Speaking about his decision to come up to a tennis match he said, “Then I came to watch tennis. It’s one of the big sports, it’s the most pure what people wanna see is two people being the best and a winner and a loser. And it feeling as objective as humanly possible.” He later on also spoke about how he feels tennis is at its “purest when they’re not cheating and they have Hawk-Eye.” Serena Williams’ husband believes there is “something magical” about this racquet sport!
