Romanian tennis star Simona Halep is also in awe of the resilience of the two sisters and expressed her views on the inspiration she derives from them.

She complimented their perseverance after so many years and their passion for the sport.

Venus Williams and Serena Williams have dominated women’s tennis for almost two decades. There was a time when their competition was only amongst themselves. They had mastered their skills and knew how to win the titles. Simona Halep expressed her admiration of the sisters and commented on their resilience this summer.

She said, “It’s impressive. The whole admiration is for them.” The player said with awe, “It’s crazy good how they can keep playing at this age after so many titles and so many great results.” She concluded, “I really admire the fact that they keep playing and they still fight for every match that they play.”

Gauff has not won one yet but the American player undoubtedly has the potential to do so.
