Coco Gauff put on an eye-catching performance in the 2022 French Open. She reached the final of the tournament without dropping a set. Playing against the likes of Elise Mertens and Sloane Stephens. Gauff powered through with nothing but the trophy in mind. But this year, in a rematch of the finals, Gauff once again fell to Iga Swiatek. While any player would be frustrated to be ousted just as they entered the final stages of a tournament, Gauff is holding herself together for one simple reason.
The American sensation experienced similar circumstances in the Australian Open this year. After defeat in the fourth round of the first slam, Gauff was reduced to tears as she tried her best to win the match.

To be honest, I’m still very frustrated, but I guess I’m trying not to show it as much. Yeah, I don’t want those pictures on the internet. So I’m just trying my best here.”
