“We go onto the tennis court. Okay, I had a brand new box of Wilson balls that I shipped there. Wait, wait, wait, we don’t use new balls, we want old ones… Sounds good to me, I got it, it was a little different. We go onto the court. She has a basket next to the post that had around seven chains wrapped around the basket,” said Macci in the podcast.

Macci highlighted that it took around 20 minutes just to get the arrangements done. Only after this, he could start practice with the Williams’ sisters. The chains were there for safety, to ensure that the basket wouldn’t disappear overnight.
