As the greatest active players enter their retirement stage, fans find a hole in their hearts. After Roger Federer and Serena Williams hung up their racket, the main attention went to the top players after that, Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek. Similar circumstances will take place when they eventually retire. To get fans ready to move on to another favorite, Patrick Mouratoglou, former coach of Serena Williams, has found the next big thing in the racket sport.

Although one might dismiss Mouratoglou praising a young kid as a boisterous claim, one might want to take a look at his portfolio. His most current student is Holger Rune, who, albeit controversial, has amazed several players. Their partnership began in 2022 and ended recently, but not before Mouratoglou pushed Rune to new heights.

Serena Williams’ former coach finds the next big player

The Patrick Mouratoglou academy is one of the most prestigious tennis academies in the world. After Mouratoglou’s work with Serena Williams, Holger Rune and Grigor Dimitrov, no one can deny his eye for talent. Now, the French coach is ready to introduce the world to the young player he believes will make it big.

He shared a video of Egor Navrazidi, 13, as he played against two players on clay. The point was a fantastic display of tennis abilities as Navrazidi runs around quite a bit. First, he hits the ball to run to the net and then returns a volley. His opponent then launches a lob shot which the 13-year-old is able to pick up and return with finesse.
