Former USA president had once compared Serena Williams with NBA legend, LeBron James
When Williams was only 17 years old, former US President Bill Clinton compared her to LeBron James. In an old YouTube video, Clinton said that she gave off a powerful aura in her matches. He also added that once she mastered her power, no one in the world would be able to beat her. More than 20 years later, that prophecy has proven to be strikingly true. At the time, Serena Williams was already a force to be reckoned with. She had won her first Grand Slam title at the US Open in 1999 when she was only 17 years old. She had already established herself as one of the top players in the world, and her potential seemed limitless.

Clinton was delighted to share his memories about the first time he saw Serena Williams play. He shared, “At first, I just saw them as sports fans. You know what, once she mastered her power, nobody in the world would be able to beat her. It was the feeling you get when you see LeBron James or Dwight Howard or Tim Duncan in basketball. That’s the aura she gave out, even at 17.”

However, it wasn’t just Williams’ sheer number of titles that made her so dominant. Williams’ style was aggressive, powerful, and relentless. The American has had a virtually unreturnable serve, and she hit groundstrokes with a ferocity that few players could match. Additionally what set Williams apart was her mental toughness. She was a fierce competitor who never gave up, no matter how far behind she was in a match.
Serena Williams husband recently expressed his thanks to the current US President, Joe Biden
