Former World No. 3 Pam Shriver feels the year 2022 is going to be a challenging one for Emma Raducanu. The 19-year-old reached the pinnacle at US Open 2021, as she lifted her maiden Grand Slam title. However, Shriver believes Raducanu lacks WTA experience.

According to her, this year we will be able to have a clear picture of Raducanu’s consistency. Apart from Pam, many other analysts have also conveyed the same point about the Brit.

On this, former World No. 3 quoted, ” So Raducanu heads into 2022 still a teenager. She’s played all of eight WTA events and coming off what for many would be the achievement of a lifetime. I’d be surprised if she’s still in the Top 20 at the end of the year.”
