The event is open to the public. However, given the limited seating capacity of Laurie Auditorium, tickets are required for admission. Each person is limited to two tickets, and ticket distribution will commence on specific dates. Starting on Monday, November 6, students, faculty, and staff can secure their tickets, followed by alumni on Monday, November 13, and the general public on Monday, November 27.

Trinity University’s president reflects on the presence of Venus for the special lecture

In an interview, the President of Trinity University, Dr Vanessa B. Beasley, sparked her opinion on Venus Williams and told how Venus’s journey is pretty much aligned with the University’s ideas. She further suggested that it would be a memorable experience for everyone present to be able to get a lifetime experience and listen to the story from the legend of the game herself.

“Venus Williams’ story resonates with our university’s spirit of intellectual curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Of course, we also honor her impact on the sport of tennis, itself integral to Trinity’s history of enduring excellence.  I am delighted we will host her on campus for what will be a memorable lecture,” said Dr Vanessa B. Beasley.
