42-Year-Old Venus Williams Taunts Sister Serena With Her Graceful Moves on the Tennis Court – ‘Where Were You?’

Venus Williams and Serena Williams are probably some of the two greatest players in the WTA’s history. The two grew up together and are quite close to each other. They learned tennis together and overcame all the possible obstacles together as well. However, being two amazing singles players meant that they had to face each other quite a few times. In fact, the two are also each other’s greatest rivals. Venus reminded her followers of this fact in a recent series of stories she posted on Instagram about her training.

Serena and Venus Williams have faced each other a whopping 31 times, more than they’ve faced anyone. Serena leads in head-to-head with 19 wins. Overall, the two are quite ferocious competitors and may still have some fire.

The world is not entirely devoid of the Williams magic in the WTA. Serena Williams may have retired in 2022. However, Venus Williams is still competing professionally. Her 2023 season may not have had a great start, but the older Williams sister is still working hard to get back to her best-competing form. At the moment, she is ranked 674.

Queen V uploaded a series of stories on her Instagram, which shows that she has not let up in the competitive tours. In one story, Venus hits a serve and subsequently hits a winner on the return. The caption of the story was “Hitting Winners“. She also added, “Where were you @serenawilliams“, calling out her sister on the court.

She uploaded another follow-up story. Venus serves, gets a return, and fails to hit a valid shot back. However, she does not let it get to her and even sings for a few seconds. The caption of this story was “But… They are not all winners. And that doesn’t get me down. Yes. I sing too.“

Serena Williams’ antics at her sister’s house

This was not the only instance of Venus calling her sister out. In a video posted by Serena on her Instagram, she gives a tour of Venus’ house. She points out all the trophies Venus has won, along with some of the doubles trophies of the two. Queen V reacted on her Instagram story and joked that she needed security in her house now.

Any antics aside, Venus and Serena are two sisters who are inseparable. Their bond has remained strong through everything they’ve faced together.
