The eight finalists for WTA Finals have reached Texas for the final showdown. The tournament will kick start on the 1st of November. American tennis prodigy Coco Gauff, and world number 1 Iga Swiatek are among the top contenders for the title. Before the tournament starts, all the finalists posed for a group picture with the trophy.

While there’s talent abundant in the picture, the girls slayed the fans with their choice of striking outfits and mesmerizing looks. A Reddit user shared the group photo and fans went crazy in the comments section.
Fans react to Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, and others in the pre-tournament photoshoot
In the photo, we can see all eight finalists who will compete in this year’s WTA Finals. The players were selected on the basis of their performance throughout the year. An interesting fact to note this year is that the American tennis star Coco Gauff became the youngest player since Maria Sharapova to qualify for the event.
World number 1 Iga Swiatek, who has won eight WTA titles this year, will go in as the favorite. Here’s how the fans reacted to the WTA Finals photo.

The WTA tour has been pretty inconsistent this year. Apart from world number 1 Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, the rest have not maintained a similar consistency. Notably, the Australian Open champion from this year, Ashleigh Barty, took the surprising decision to retire from the sport while Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina failed to qualify.
