Serena Williams has been good friends with Formula 1 legend, Lewis Hamilton. Earlier this year, the American tennis star was present at the Miami Grand Prix to cheer Hamilton. Additionally, the two were also in the running to buy a stake in the EPL club, Chelsea.

Yesterday, Lewis scripted a brilliant performance as he finished on the podium at the French Grand Prix. In a thrilling race, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished at the top, followed by the Mercedes duo of Hamilton and George Russell. Subsequently, Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, a die-hard Mercedes fan, reacted to the brilliant performance of Hamilton and Mercedes at the French GP.

The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to share his reaction after the French Grand Prix. He said, “Double Podium @MercedesAMGF1 wtg @LewisHamilton get some water dude.”

Further, talking about his performance, Hamilton said, “I couldn’t really be much happier. Of course, if we’d won that would be another step but definitely didn’t expect that result today. Obviously, I was praying and hoping that we could fight for a podium, like a third, but I can’t believe we have a second – this is huge for us.”

Meanwhile, on the tennis front, Serena is back to training after her Wimbledon setback. Earlier this month, she was seen practicing on the hard court built by her husband, Alexis Ohanian.

Recently, the Reddit co-founder shared glimpses of him preparing breakfast along with his daughter, Olympia. In one of the videos, he made uniquely shaped pancakes for Olympia. Additionally, he also shared a picture of making crepes for the first time.

Meanwhile, Serena will be seen in action at the National Bank Open in Toronto, commencing on August 7.
