28-year-old Canadian tennis star, Eugenie Bouchard has made a steady recovery from an injury she suffered last year in March. After a successful surgery, she is slowly coming back on the court in 2022. Recently, she made a few exhibition tournaments, as she is trying to get back on the WTA tour again. In the meantime, she is giving out life lessons with Brazilian tennis star Bruno Soares and David Grutman, the owner of various Miami-based restaurants.

Today, Genie posted various videos on Instagram stories of her practice session with Bruno Soares. A well-renowned restaurant owner in Miami, David Grutman also joined them, as he partnered with Genie for a doubles bout. During their practice session, Bruno and Genie shared some life lessons for the fans.

Mostly, Genie shared the bloopers of their session on Instagram stories. However, in those videos, the Canadian tennis player shared an important message for everyone. She said, “Go for what you want in life, go get it.”

Bruno also said, “Don’t look right, just go your own path.”

However, David quickly dismissed that video, as Bruno’s saying wasn’t very clear. In the next video, Genie somehow stuttered, and it counted as a fail video as well.

Later, the Canadian star posted a few photos on Instagram, and in the caption, she wrote, “Taught Dave the classic tennis photo shoot poses… Bruno did not get the memo.”

Genie is slowly making a comeback

In March 2021, Genie tore her shoulder muscle and had to undergo surgery. Since then, she has been doing a lot of work off the court, including various charity works. It’s been a while since we have seen her on the tour, and fans are patiently waiting to see the talented Canadian get back on the court again.

A few days back, she played an exhibition match against former Australian Open champion, Sofia Kenin. Also, she played a mixed doubles match with former German tennis player Tommy Haas. Recently, she played another match against American tennis star Alison Riske. If she stays healthy, we should probably see her back on the WTA tour again this year.
