Before her comeback to tennis, Serena had a busy schedule attending events across the globe. She was also present at the Oscars ceremony where her film ‘King Richard’ received a massive honor. Her stylist at the events has been Kesha McLeod, with whom she shares a close-knit bond. Recently, Serena reacted to the news that Kesha was selecting looks for the NBA draft.

The younger Williams sister took to Instagram to react to the wonderful news of Kesha McLeod selecting looks for the NBA draft. Sharing a story on her official Instagram handle, she said, “Go Sis!”

Recently, Kesha McLeod revealed how Serena influenced her. She said, “There are two sides of Serena that I know — the sister Serena, and then there is the Serena that you guys all know. So, just having conversations with her and also watching her play, and really becoming that full force and still being humble and relatable, but not taking no for an answer.”

Further, she added, “There have been so many times where I sat with her and asked her for advice, or even just sitting back and seeing what she’s done. I love that I can also go to her for friendship, not only just work. It is really amazing to have someone like that as your mentor, as well as a client.”

Serena set to suffer a huge blow in the WTA rankings

As a result of her lengthy injury layoff and ranking points not on offer at this year’s Wimbledon, Serena will lose all her ranking points earned last season. Hence, she will move out of the WTA rankings chart post the Wimbledon Championships.
