During her early days in tennis, Serena overcame all odds to carve out a successful tennis career. She practiced on the public tennis courts in Compton along with her father, Richard Williams, and elder sister, Venus. Subsequently, Rick Macci joined their team and together worked day in and day out to attain glory.
Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, cheered for her every point during the third-round match. Additionally, Venus was also present inside the Arthur Ashe stadium. After the match, Serena paid an emotional tribute to her, thanking her for having a positive influence on her career.
