The tournament will be launched in January 2024, four months from now. Further, the tournament got its first-ever team owners in the form of Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian.

Recently, the Reddit co-founder used Tiger Woods to promote an exciting feature at the tournament. TGL announced its first team earlier this year in the form of Los Angeles Golf Club. The founding investors included Serena and Alexis. As Alexis shared the golf legend’s video, he couldn’t control his excitement about sharing TGL’s special feature.

Serena Williams’ husband reveals an exciting update about TGL

Ever since he purchased the TGL franchise Los Angeles Golf Club, Alexis has been very involved with the club and the TGL. He regularly shares updates about the golfing extravaganza that is set to begin in four months.

Hours ago, the Reddit co-founder took to Instagram and shared a video via a story on his official Instagram handle, showing Tiger Woods giving his No. 1 tip to amateur golfers. The video included the golfing legend making use of an exciting feature that is set to be included in the upcoming TGL event. Revealing the big update, Alexis wrote, “Y’all aren’t ready for how glorious the live mic on @tglgolf will be in January.”

Alexis gears up for the TGL season 1

The Reddit co-founder and successful investor, Alexis shared that video on his Instagram story as he awaits action in the tournament soon. Additionally, he wrote, “Get ready. @wearelagc coming in hot in JANUARY.” In the first season of the newly found league by Woods and McIlroy, players will be split into teams which will be a first in the sport.
