Upon stumbling on this sad news, Evert responded with the tweet, “One of the nicest, sweetest, most graceful human beings has passed away. She shed a bright light wherever she went. She was so loved… RIP Olivia… “

Whereas the nine-time Wimbledon champion Navratilova, shocked by the incident, tweeted, “RIP Legend. Gone much too soon.”

Olivia Newton-John gave four Grammy worthy albums and five number one hits and ten top ten hits in 70s and early 80s. Some of her best songs are If You Love Me Let Me Know, Have You Never Been Mellow, and You’re The One That I Want.

Further, John Travolta also payed tribute to his Grease co-actor. He wrote, “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better.”

“Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again,” Travolta added. He and Newton-John delivered two of the most iconic performances as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson in the 1978 musical. The movie touched a worldwide box office gross of 366 million dollars.
