While the victory meant a lot just before the US Open, in the post-match press conference, the former world number 7 joked about how the Barbie movie was stuck in her head during the whole showdown.

She said, “My head has been taken for a spin. We went to the Barbie movie last night. So that’s where my head is, I’ve got the songs stuck in my head.”

Well, she is not the only tennis player on the WTA circuit who has had Barbie in her normal conversations. Just a few days ago, the 2023 Australian Open champion, Aryna Sabalenka, shared her own version of Barbie while sharing a body positivity message for her fans.

While the Barbie fever is in no mood to slow down, just a few days ago, the 25-year-old Belarusian tennis player revealed her own version of Barbie from the 21st century. The world number two tennis player took to her Instagram account to share a meme post that talked about how the actual Barbie character is quite different in reality.

That post highlighted that the realistic ones are pretty self-confident, enjoy tacos, and really don’t care about other people’s opinions on their own appearance. Along with that post, she also shared an alternative name for Barbie and wrote, ‘Carbie,’ who has fewer imaginary features but more of a carbs personality.
