The American tennis legend, Serena Williams tied the knot with the American entrepreneur, Alexis Ohanian. Since their marriage, Ohanian has massively contributed to women’s sports. Because of his unwavering support for women’s soccer, Reddit’s co-founder became a big investor in Angel City FC.

However, because of some defeats, Angel City FC is far away from the playoff spot in the National Women’s Soccer League. But, Ohanian recently revealed that there is still a way his team could make it to the playoffs.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian talked about the NWSL playoffs

The popular NSWL soccer club, Angel City FC is currently at the eighth spot on the table and still far away from the playoff spot. However, Ohanian recently stated that his team might make it to the playoffs by scoring 16 goals in their last fixture of this season.

Ohanian is quite active on his social media as he loves to converse with fans about his entrepreneurial stories. He also posts encouraging messages for his soccer club, Angel City FC.  The American entrepreneur recently stated, “We gotta score 16 goals on Sunday to make the playoffs??”

The women’s soccer club, Angel City FC previously missed a brilliant opportunity to qualify for the playoffs of the National Women’s Soccer League. They were defeated, 3-1, by Racing Louisville FC.  Alexis Ohanian’s soccer club, Angel City FC will now compete against Chicago Red Stars FC in the last fixture of this season.

The well-known soccer club, Angel City FC might climb up to the playoff spot if they defeat Chicago Red Stars FC with a goal difference of 16, which is not technically impossible, but at the same time is ridiculous.

Serena is looking for a pet dog

Apart from being a fierce tennis player on the tennis court, Serena Williams is also an animal lover. The 23-time Grand Slam winner, Williams is very active on her social media as she recently talked about gifting herself a pet, as she is an animal lover.

She revealed that she loves kittens and dogs but is scared of cats. As a result, many fans criticized her for not liking cats. Some fans also mocked her by stating that a fierce player like Serena is scared of cats. The American tennis legend also asked for suggestions about the best pet dogs, from her fans and friends.

Williams is certainly a pet dog lover as she has previously owned many pet dogs in her home. She was once spotted playing and enjoying with her adorable pets.
