28-year-old Canadian tennis star, Eugenie Bouchard has been eying a comeback since last December. After suffering a shoulder injury in March last year, she has been on the sidelines. Earlier, she informed on her social media that she will make a comeback on the WTA tour, pretty soon. Currently, she seems to be having a fun time attending Coachella in 2022.

Eugenie Bouchard watches Harry Styles and Shania Twain at Coachella 2022

Former Wimbledon finalist, Eugenie Bouchard, recently attended the Coachella music festival (an annual music festival that happens in California) with her sister Beatrice Bouchard. Throughout the festival, she posted stories on her Instagram. From her stories, we could see the beauty of the music festival. In one of the performances, the British singer, Harry Styles, performed some of his new songs.

While Harry was performing, Canadian singer Shania Twain surprised everyone and appeared at the back of the stage. Then, both the singers performed a duet together. Bouchard was elated and ecstatic witnessing them perform together.

Then, she added some heart emojis in the next story to show her love for them. 

Bouchard is still recovering from her injury setback

Earlier, the Canadian tennis player received a wild card for the Palm Harbour tournament in Florida. However, she missed the tournament, as she was still on the road to recovery. After suffering a torn subscapularis in her right shoulder last March, she underwent the surgery In June. As a result, she missed most of the tour and also slipped in the rankings massively. 

Bouchard is currently ranked-1246 in the world. After having a breakout year in 2014, when she reached one Grand Slam final and two Grand Slam semifinals, her career graph gradually went down. She could not perform consistently on the tour. Also, she suffered some injuries along the way, which almost derailed her career.

However, she played a few exhibition matches alongside Sofia Kenin and Alison Riske a few weeks back, which means she is not far away from making her long-awaited comeback in tennis.
