Venus Williams, the seven-time Grand Slam champion is famous for her goofy nature. She makes friends wherever she goes and never shies away from speaking about what she feels. Further, Williams is very active on Instagram and loves being in touch with her fans. Recently, while going through the comments on the handle of her very own clothing brand, she stumbled upon some interesting questions. And she chose to answer them.
Venus Williams Needs New Racquets
While surfing through the Q and As of the official Instagram page of Eleven by Venus, Williams showered her fans with some interesting replies. One of her fans asked her about her racquet and wrote, “Are you going to switch to Blade 102 (Serena’s model)?”

To which she jokingly answered, “I have been borrowing her racquet since my coach has all mine.” The American tennis ace currently uses Wilson Blade 104 V7 racquet. And strings both the mains and crosses with Luxilon ALU Power 125.
Not long after Williams’ allegations, her coach Eric Hechtman replied and wrote, “Got those sticks ready for you.” Hechtman is been training Venus since 2019. Further will travel by her side if she plans to join the upcoming tours.
Williams Gives Some Advice
The former world, no.1, is one of the greatest players of the current generation. Therefore, people often flood her with technical questions in search of some advice. Few words of guidance from a player of her caliber and experience could even provide someone with a breakthrough. Firstly, Williams addressed how she deals with on-court stress and said, “I don’t ask for less challenges. I ask for more skills.”

Following that, she spoke about handling situations when one’s game is falling apart because of their partner’s fault while in doubles. She said, “encourage them to them to pace off of the first serve. Get it in so they don’t have to hit a second serve until they can settle down.”

Speaking about her tennis, she has sidelined her game for quite some time now. However, recently Williams sparked hope by hinting at a comeback in this year’s Wimbledon championship.
