Rick Macci is one of the most celebrated coaches of all time. He has coached the likes of Venus and Serena Williams, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, and many more. Recently, Macci took to Twitter to give his opinion on Richard Williams.

He tweeted, “Richard Williams was the same exact guy/dad every single day for 4 years. Determined passionate funny smart different loving caring serious focused unpredictable and very confident. He never ever blinked. I LOVE THIS GUY. RICHARD WILLPOWER!”

Rick Macci first met the Williams sisters in California in 1991 where he saw them train. Soon, the two gentlemen struck a healthy relationship and Macci became the first coach of Venus and Serena. Together, they played a crucial role in the Williams sisters’ dominance in women’s tennis.
