Will Smith, who played the Williams patriarch also won an Academy Award for his performance. But that is not why people have been talking about Smith. In a bizarre turn of events, the 94th Academy Awards saw him slapping the presenter, comedian Chris Rock, for making an insensitive joke about Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. The joke was about a medical condition, Jada suffers from called alopecia areata, which makes ones hair fall out, prematurely.

Serena Williams’ sister says there’s a time and place for everything

Sabrina, who also struggles with alopecia, said, “it’s not the time or place. If somebody offends you, you let them know in a private setting, ‘Hey, you offended my wife, I did laugh at the joke, but my wife was offended. But just to go on stage in the middle of an event and slap somebody, walk back down, and then yell from your seat. That’s just not appropriate.”
