“It’s harder for the eldest sons” – Koltsov’s ex-wife reveals the difficulty faced by the children

Losing a father during teenage years is not a common occurrence. Koltsov’s sons have to, unfortunately, go through the same. In a recent interview, Mihailova expressed the situation of their three sons: “Difficult question. We try not to lose heart. I don’t know how else to say. It’s harder for the eldest sons, Daniel and Alexander, they understand everything well. They are 18 and 16 years old. The youngest, Stefan, is five years old. He thinks Dad is in paradise now. Stefan, however, asked how Dad died, but I haven’t answered him yet.”

Along with mourning his passing, she also revealed that Daniel, the oldest son, has to be present to sign all documents after his death. “The heir, by the way, is considered the eldest child, not the ex-wife or girlfriend. Therefore, it will be necessary to take Daniel with you to sign all the documents related to the case.”

The demise of Koltsov not only forces bereavement upon them but it has also put their future in the US on uncertain grounds.
