Chris Evert divorced Andy Mill in 2006 after having a long marriage and three kids with him. She and Greg Norman got married in 2008 and started their lives completely smitten with love. But what they did not see was the harsh reality of how life was going to be for both of them. Evert talked about the differences that the two had, which eventually led to their divorce only after a year.

Incidentally, Greg Norman, a legendary golfer, was Andy Mill’s best friend. So, when Evert left Mill to be with Norman, it was a devastating experience for him. However, he focused on moving on. And Evert and Norman were happy to go on with their new lives. But things did not turn as dreamy as they had hoped it to be.

The separation took a toll on Evert, and after that, she started undergoing professional counseling. She said the reason was that they both turned out to be “just very different people. It was our priorities and our lifestyles.” She summarized their relationship in a few words and said, “I wanted roots, and he wanted wings.”

Evert on dating again

Evert has been leading quite a peaceful life after her retirement as a tennis expert and commentator. Despite having some difficult relationships, the 67-year-old is still open to embracing love. However, sadly the only dilemma that remains is that all the nice guys are married!
