Sloane Stephens, the American tennis ace, turned pro in the year 2009 and touched the peak of her career in the years 2017 and 2018. Though Stephens already had a quarterfinal run at the Wimbledon and a semifinal run in the Australian Open. In the year 2017, she finally clinched her first Grand Slam trophy. The American outclassed Madison Keys in the finals of the US Open to claim the title.

However, she suffered a foot injury, which plateaued her career. An encouraging aspect is that her recent matches show that she is slowly regaining her form. In order to maintain balance, Stephens isn’t drowning herself in practice and giving time to her personal life.
Sloane Stephens shares moments from her date
The former US Open Champion recently stepped out for a date with husband Jozy Altidore and shared some pictures and clips from her day. Stephens posted pictures of their breakfast, and shared a video of them goofing around and captioned it, “He was saying some inappropriate things. But we looked cute.”

Thereafter, the couple enjoyed the American rapper T-Pain’s concert about which Stephens wrote, “Took Jozy Altidore to see Tallahassee hero” and with that marked the end of their eventful day.
The former World No.3 tied the knot with the American major league soccer player in the year 2022 after dating for almost six years. They got married at St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami Beach, Florida.

Stephens in this year’s clay-court season
Sloane Stephens did not have a good start to the clay court season. However, unlike the hard court season, her performance got better with time on the clay, as she reached the quarterfinals in the French Open.

The American, after facing a first round exit in Madrid and Rome, showcased a great deal of improvement on the red dirt of Paris. She outclassed Diane Parry, who outdid former World No.2 Barbora Krejcikova, in the third round.

Following that, she took down 24-year-old Swiss professional Jil Teichmann, in the round of 16 until eventually suffering a defeat against fellow American and finalist, Coco Gauff, in the next round.
