Caroline Wozniacki is back to finish what she started. While everyone was excited for the 33-year-old tennis player to come back, she herself had a vision of how she wanted to present herself once again on the tennis court. She left the sport on her own terms three years ago, and now that she’s returned to it, she knows why she’s there. At the Canadian Open, however, Markéta Vondrouová prevented her from continuing her comeback run, despite the fact that Wozniacki proudly won the first-round match.

Although she crashed out in her comeback tournament after facing a second-round defeat at the Canadian Open, the former Grand Slam champion gave out clear intentions regarding her career’s second innings.

While she was quite happy with the way she completed it after 3 years, she also acknowledged openly the one goal she has in her head. She said, “I think again that I wish to win the tournament, obviously. But at the same time also realistically you know you got to just take it step by step and so all in all I’m gonna take a lot of positives with me from this week and build on that moving forward.”

Not only that, but she also carried on a very positive feeling regarding how she has to take one step at a time to achieve the goal of winning a tournament after pausing her tennis career for a brief period of time. She will be next seen at the Cincinnati Masters and give her 100% to lift the title.
