23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian recently attended the Robin Hood Benefit 2021. The Robin Hood organization is a body that raises money to lift families out of poverty in New York City.
Both Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian even hit the Red Carpet at the event. The couple dressed beautifully and looked quite stunning in their amazing outfits.

Serena Williams surprises fans by wearing sports shoes at Robin Hood Benefit 2021
Fans seemed quite excited after looking at the outfit of Serena. She wore a magnificent black dress and wore black heels to complement her dress. However, in one of her recent Instagram stories, one can see her wearing sports shoes instead of those heels.

Serena revealed that her heels got stuck in the escalator, forcing her to wear something else. Even though the mishappening took place, she was ready as she suddenly put on Nike’s sports shoes.
“When your heels get stuck in the escalator. Never leave home without my Serena design crew Nike,” wrote Serena in the caption of her Instagram post.
At the end of her Instagram story, the former World No.1 player sarcastically said that one should always have a back up and be ready with the other pair of footwear if anything wrong happens.
